Beautiful places in Berlin in the evening
Berlin takes on a new dimension in the evening as the squares, streets and monuments are illuminated. The Christmas illumination is particularly striking, but at any other time of the year you can also see fascinating lights. If you want to enjoy a view of the major sights, you can take an evening boat trip on the Spree. Tourists also like to visit Alexanderplatz in the evening, where there are many interesting architectural structures, and you can climb the Berlin Television Tower until 00:00 (the last stop is at 23:30) for a panoramic view of the city.
Unter den Linden
Unter den Linden Boulevard is a popular spot for tourist strolls. While you can visit various museums during the day, in the evening it is best to walk leisurely under the lime trees and gaze at the beautiful architecture of the many structures.
Unter den Linden has a variety of cafés and restaurants for evening snacks. One of the most famous establishments is the Austrian café Einstein. It's worth walking to the end of the street to see the illuminated Brandenburg Gate. If you're heading in the opposite direction, cross over from the start of the street to Museum Island with the beautiful Berlin Cathedral.
