Mayor Klaus Wowereit once proclaimed Berlin “poor but sexy”. In recent years, the city’s finances have improved immeasurably but poor or not, Berlin is undeniably still sexy – especially during Fashion Week. This week, the high heels are out in force once: the 2013 Winter Berlin Fashion Week officially starts tomorrow, but the final fittings and opening parties have already started!
I’ll be reporting from behind the scenes and inside the shows, from the star-studded parties and stressful final fittings, from the major trade fairs to the small, intimate affairs.
