Fresh and French Editorial Week 16
It’s Monday, the weekend’s over and it’s time to tell you about this week’s selection of “Fresh & French” topics:
Hotel
- A few weeks ago I paid a visit to artist Katrin Kampmann, whose colourful creations – 22 in total – can be found all over the hotel. In part I, we navigated the pots and paintbrushes in her artist’s studio in Mitte. This week it’s time for part II: up on the roof.
Wine and Taste
- Coffee is the most heavily consumed beverage in Germany, far ahead of water and beer. With International Coffee Day just around the corner (29.09.2012), I’ve decided to get you in the mood with the lowdown on coffee at Concorde, including their very own coffee cocktail.
Lifestyle
- The Schaubühne is one of my favourite theatres in Berlin and is just a stone’s throw away from the hotel. This week, in honour of the houses’s 50th birthday, I will be paying a visit to experience their take on Ibsen’s ‘Hedda Gabler’.
