Collection Culinaire Hall of Fame
Earlier this week, with the Hotel Concorde’s seventh birthday fast approaching, I caught up with General Manager Carsten Colmorgen to talk about the milestone anniversary. He had some really interesting things to say about the hotel’s short yet colourful history (read all about it here), but what of the celebrations themselves? How do you celebrate seven years of savoir-vivre in Berlin? Well, with some fantastic French food, some fantastic deals and a glass of bubbly, on the house.
From November 1st to the 30th, if you order any of the seven classic French dishes from the Brasserie Le Faubourg’s menu you will be treated to a complimentary glass of wine or champagne. Choose – if you can – from coq au vin, flambéed prawns, steak tartare, salad niçoise, bouillabaisse, steak & frites or créme brûlée. These are the kinds of dishes that never go out of fashion.
This month’s collection culinaire will also be suitably nostalgic, as it will be composed from some of this year’s best dishes. Based on the feedback from guests, Steffen Sinzinger has put together a Collection Culinaire Hall of Fame for you to tuck into throughout November, featuring raw marinated tuna, creme of veal, lobster gelée and rocket salad; venison and Brussels sprouts; braised quince with hazelnut sablé and tonka bean ice cream… From November 1st to 7th, you can enjoy not five, but seven courses for the five-course menu price. Just click here to reserve a table. Happy Birthday, indeed!
So there are plenty of culinary treats to mark the hotel’s special anniversary, but there are also special offers elsewhere in the hotel. This month you can book yourself in for 77 hours of luxury and comfort in one of the hotel’s beautiful suites for the special price of just €777. The offer is only available to book for a limited period, so don’t dilly-dally!
